Simple Present Tense
The present tense is an actions happening right now.
How
to Form the Present Simple in the Positive Sentences:
- we used it with pronouns I, You, We, They
- The
verb changes only in third person singular
(he, she, it) we add s after the verb.
FOR EXAMPLE: walk

The es suffix is used when the verb ends in the letters ss, sh, ch, x, z.
For EXAMPLES:
verb ends in the letters ch.
For Example: catch – catches Sam catches butterflies.
verb ends in the letters sh.
For Example: wash, washes She washes her clothes.
verb ends in the letter x
For Example: mix, mixes. The chocolate mixes well into strawberry frostings.
verb ends in the letters/ zz.
For Example: buzz, buzzes It buzzes to my ear every night.
When the verb ends in a consonant y we change y to
i and add -es.
For Example: study, studies She studies every night.
